The guy that came out was shown the metal shavings in my transmission fluid and they attempted to show him the obvious failures in my CV axles and he refused to even inspect it. After the inspection he said it was drivable and just needed a flush.
I requested a secondary inspection to be completed and they sent the same guy out the second time. By the time he arrived for the inspection, the auto shop had already done a fluid flush to hopefully show him that it hadnt solved anything.
They took him on a test drive and he verbally noted that he could feel the hard engagement from reverse to drive. My car nearly maxed out on RPMs while attempting to merge onto the freeway during the test drive. And he STILL reported that the car was drivable and no other repairs were needed at this time.
