I would not go with this company at all. They are downright rude and unresponsive. Maybe if you were a larger company they would give you the time of day, but if you aren't making money for them they dont care about you. So much for small businesses supporting small businesses.

I stayed at the Extended Stay on 1 Meadowview pkwy this past weekend where the Atlantic Vending company has a machine. I got a honey bun out of the machine the morning of Saturday Oct 16th, ate half of it when I realized it was full of mold! I was sick to my stomach and traumatized! I spit it out and immediately ran to the bathroom to throw up. My stomach was in knots the rest of the day. It was clear I had food poisoning because I was throwing up and had diarrhea. I went to the front desk to complain because I was so upset and they told me I had to reach out to the company. I called Atlantic vending right away and left a message since they were closed. This morning Oct 18th I received a call back from their representative about the complaint and was shocked at how this call went. I explained my terrible experience about getting sick from eating MOLD and she admitted the manufacturers said some of the items weren't sealed properly. They sent someone to clean out the vending machine today and that it would no longer be a problem. She then had the audacity to offer me a $2 refund for my experience. My problem is that she completely dismissed the emotional and physical trauma I experienced, admitted the problem and did absolutely nothing to try and remedy the damage that's been done. She simply insulted me with a $2 refund that I declined since that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. I saved them from potential lawsuits for negligence and all they did was try and dismiss my experience like it was nothing. The lady on the phone took down my name and address which I'm not certain what for, since I declined the refund. I called back after she hung up so I could ask some other questions and get her name but no one answered the 2x I called back within a few mins after the original call. If they would've handled this situation with care rather than invalidating my experience, I might not have written this terrible review but after what I went through and how they handled it, it was beyond necessary. After eating literal FUR, I'm scared to eat! I always check my food before I eat it but ever since this I examine every tiny spec. The emotional distress I experienced, NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT! I will probably never eat from a vending machine again! The thought of it still makes me sick and who knows how long that honey bun had been in there! So if you are staying anywhere with an Atlantic Vending Machine or come across one, I would think twice before buying anything from them. DON'T PURCHASE FROM THEIR MACHINES B/C YOU COULD VERY WELL BE EATING MOLD! Calling them won't resolve much either since they hardly pick up the phones and they will invalidate your experiences!!!
