We had an appointment booked for 5pm today. This was made days in advance, and the wife confirmed with them 4 hours prior of the appt. Upon showing up, we were greeted by a younger guy, who informed us that our appointment was confirmed, but they could not see us. When we asked why, we were told that there was another appointment coming in soon....
We asked why if we had an appointment booked in advance, why does the one that is scheduled for later take precedence. We were informed by the guy at the counter that his boss instructed him as so, and to leave copies of our documents, they would be put into a "pool" to be taken care of when available.
I requested to speak with the manager that made this decision, and the request was denied. There was an older gentleman there who we were told was too busy to take us at the time in the back. I asked to ask him a question about solar credits, and the young guy at the counter said that I could go ask him.
When I got back there, the older gentleman was on his cell phone, with no clients.
I don't know what transpired, or happened that resulted in this clear breakdown in communication, but there is a clear disconnect in management. The young guy up front told us he was new, and did contact a supervisor, so good job to him! As for the manager, I would not recommend to go to this place due to his/her inability to simply answer a request to speak to the customer requesting them.

I have used H&R Block my entire life and I trust them, but after 50 plus years of getting my business they never offer loyalty discounts or show any appreciation for long time loyal custamers. The price has gone up every single year and not once have they acknowledged any appreciation for long time custamers in any form or fashion
