Many many years ago when I was a child, my father would take us to this restaurant for a wonderful salmon steak or a rib eye. My favorite was the New England clam chowder! It was when my mother was still in her better years. We would travel here from Staten Island and enjoy watching the boats go to and fro from the huge windows. This place always warmed my heart and was special. When I grew up and married I made sure to return with my children. We were here just before Sandy hit. Sorry to see that it is still in ruins. The memories are bittersweet. A favorite and always will be in my heart. Missing Ye Old Cottage Inn!
