Hurricane Plumbing Heating & Sewer & Drain

Was contracted by my insurance and they came out and told me I needed to pay an extra 250.00 dollars and said they needed to get approval before coming back. I called my insurance same day and they said I am fully covered and they were approved . It has been 18 days and for a week after they originally came out They have not called me with eta, I had to call them several times and Everytime they said they would call me back and never did. Then I would call and get voicemails and. When I called from my cell a different number they answered the phone and again said they would contact their office and call me right back. Never called. They know that we have had no hot water for now 18 days and my elderly mother and disable sister have been waiting patiently. This is a disgrace for any business to not at least return a call or give a real answer when you call. Never ever believe a word Eric says because he acts like he doesn't remember who you are when you call back. They said they were waiting on approval from insurance company which the insurance company said they gave approval last Tuesday 7 days ago when the tech came here. Insurance also told me they are not to ask for any money out of pocket from because I am covered fully for with the coverage I have. So scam alert as well.

I contacted Hurricane based on a recommendation from a home inspector. Hurricane picked up my call, and came out within the hour. Mind you, it was about 20 degrees outside and I was without heat. Eric diagnosed the issue with my steam boiler in a matter of minutes, performed a temporary fix that kept us warm for the next 12 hours, and then came back to perform the repairs needed to keep us warm for the rest of the winter. I called them back the next day to snake my tub. They again came out within the hour and we are good to go. Their prices are more than fair, they're respectful and kind - and show up on time. Really can't ask for more. They're the old-school/local plumber you wish was still around... They're the OPPOSITE of an A.J. Perri - and that's a (VERY) good thing! On 6/15/2020 sine hits hurricane plumbing and heating came to my house to assist me with a plumbing issue I was having. Troy was my technician. They charge me a total of $9,800 to fix a backup that was leaking into my basement. The issues was never fixed! They crated a huge job, when the problem was small. I had to hire another plumbing company that put a Camara down the pipe and was able to figure out the issued right away. I also pay wey wey wey less! ($150) I am disappointed on how much money I spent absolutely not even fixing the issue. After the job was done they also did not clean up after themselves. I would not recommend them for anything. I am a repeat customer of Hurricane and cannot stay enough good things. They're punctual, reliable, kind, communicative and truly skilled at their crafts. I'm a Realtor and it's very rare to come across this high level of service and value. I refer them to anyone who will listen (:
