I would give this place a zero if I could. As a matter of fact make I would give them a negative five stars! This was the most miserable and unprofessional experience I have ever had at the doctors office. I am new to the area and needed to get school and sports physicals for my children, this place popped up on my insurance list. I made both appointments, because the children are different ages, they were set on two different days -because the eldest needed to see the the general doctor. To be honest, I should have left as soon as I saw the location, but I tried not to be judgmental. However when I stepped I was dismayed to see The inside waiting area was just about as ragged and dirty as the outside of the faculty. I didn't even want to to have to sit on the waiting room chairs, as they were very dirty. But I checked in, and choose the chairs with darkest fabric and tried not to think about it. Now I will just get into specifics:Wait time: The first appointment I waited for 1.5 hours while they "verified" my insurance. However, in my opinion it seemed to me that if you knew the receptionist you might get in faster. This seemed to happen both times I visited the office. The second time I arrived a half hour early to the appointment and still wasn't seen until after 1.5 hours of waiting--At this point they took my child's weight, height, blood pressure and then sent us out to wait for another 1.5 hours! A gentleman in the lobby actually told me he'd been coming here for years but today was his last day, he couldn't take the ridiculous wait times anymore. Examination Rooms: Little dirty, small, and not the cleanest. The first day I went two blood pressure machines didn't work in my children ...(yes I went back). Doctors: The two actual doctors my children saw were very friendly and professional. They honestly gave off a genuine feeling of care and an acceptable level of professionalism.Icing on the Cake: THEY CHARGE TO FILL OUT ANY FORM. I have never experienced this in my life. Why a doctor would charge to fill out a required school physical form when that is what your insurance is covering is beyond me. I thought it was quite appalling considering the location and clientele they serve. They seemingly overwhelmingly serve low income people...to nickel and dime them just seems wrong. Perhaps I could understand charging for duplicate forms if you somehow lost the form, but to charge just to write them is absurd. I ended up paying more than a doctors office copy just for the forms! The icing on the cake however, was after all was said in done (one the second day) I find out that I have to go and pay for another sports physical because the doctor didn't complete the entire form! He is not licensed to do the complete physical or some other nonsense...you'd think they would have told me that before they even began the physical?
