Every self respecting kid wants to be a rock and roll star. Wish my parents steered me towards guitar instead of flute when I was 10. Nothing against those who enjoy the flute- it's great. But going into my teenage years with more knowledge of guitar and rock & roll would have helped my self-esteem and social abilities much more than the average band instrument. A better haircut and wardrobe also would have helped. Guitar Bar Jr is the place to make it happen. Now I enjoy learning guitar through my son's lessons. It's a great instrument. We're not trying to get a record deal but it's a really fun way to bond and enjoy a few moments together during the week when not pressed with everything else that consumes daily life. It's also a fun way to expose him to all the crazy albums we had growing up in the 80's. Am I re-living the childhood I wish I had through my kid? Sure, maybe, but who cares. He'll still be more well rounded and interesting when he's older than I ever was. Jim, the owner, is as humble and honest as they come. Alan has been a great teacher. He even surprises me with the songs picked to teach. Highly recommended.

Amazing kids guitar class, not just a sit and listen class like some music classes but the kids get up and are active, they try their own ukeleles and bells and Karen the musician dances and plays guitar, so fantastic!
