We ordered Piri Piri for delivery for the first time tonight. My fiance and I were so impressed that we felt compelled to leave a review. The delivery took 30 mins, which seemed totally fine. We got one order of steak with rice, beans, and fries and another dinner order of chicken. Having never tried them before, we wanted to get two basic things that we could each try. The serving sizes were HUGE! Definitely did not need to order two meals...one would have more than sufficed for the two of us. It was flavorful and a good step above most Hoboken delivery in terms of quality.

I was there last week, i had chicken soup as a starter and grilled chicken as a main course. I have to say that food was pretty plain, chicken soup with orzo pasta was OK but it was not any different from a soup you can eat at home. Main course was a plate of grilled chicken, with with white rice and salad. In was OK, it was not any different that a chicken you make at home, rice was just plain white rice and salad was a mix of greens with a tomato. Desert was cream with bread crumbs, it was sweet, rich, but it also was OK, nothing to write home about. There were 4 people, and all of us felt the same way, food was OK, but nothing to draw you back in again. From the very begging, they gave us bread and pickled veggies, they tasted OK nothing special, main course and appetizer, OK nothing special. I also tasted other peoples foods and they were the same way, flan tasted like cream of wheat with pancake syrup on top, custard tarts were also plain. And even tea was regular, pedestrian tea. Not one of the 4 who were there would rate the food as anything but OK or plain. Also prices are pretty steep. I will not go there again, in terms of food ....................... it's just plain and simple, i did not taste anything that i would want to taste again. PS Sauce they give was pretty good.

Great atmosphere, food and service! Last night we had a birthday party at PiriPiri for total of 14 guests. The guests were very late, but the restaurant managers made sure our table is ready for us even though the restaurant was very busy. The restaurant has very pleasant atmosphere and décor. The food was great we had a variety of appetizers and dishes “family style†and everyone loved the food. The prices were very reasonable and what can be better than BYOB and birthday cake? We had a wonderful time, we will definitely go back, Thank you PiriPiri!
