Club Barks Hoboken Jefferson

Took my dogs to their Jersey City location for baths. My dogs got kennel cough from the experience on one visit. On the prior visit, my female dog got a urinary tract infection from the bath she got! Both times I had to give my dogs antibiotics! Management responded to my complaint by saying that it's not their duty to check their client's dogs for kennel cough before accepting them, and they told me that since I didn't feel satisfied with their services, I should stop bringing my dogs there! An exceptionally bad experience.

I bought a pack of 50 sessions for my pup after just two sessions my dog was viciously attacked by another dog who had KNOWN behavioral issues and one other incident prior to this. The dog bit her face so bad there were deep gashes only centimeters away from her eyes. Club Barks did not take my dog to the vet after the incident and refused to even pay for the bill. I understand doggy daycare has incidents but why would they ever risk putting another dog who has already had previous history of attacking other dogs near the dogs at daycare? I asked for the video footage of the incident so I could understand what transpired and they refused to provide that to me. After only sending my fur child for two sessions to club barks this occurred and I no longer feel safe sending her there. When they called me they told me she had “two small cuts” these are not cuts these are deep wounds. Club Barks has refused to refund my money even though I never signed any sort of agreement relinquishing my rights or their responsibilty or liability as a company. Don’t bring your dogs to club barks if you want a responsible daycare to care for your dog. This place is a fraud and they don’t care about the animals AT ALL. *The front end staff is friendly it’s the owners of the company who have not cared at all to help us in this situation.
