Absolutely the best Chinese food around. However, be careful ordering online. On three occasions now they "didn't have paper in their printer" and we waited well over an hour for food.

We began ordering take-out from Hunan New Jade after Golden Dynasty closed in 2020.  They have become our go-to for Chinese take-out food when not in NYC (where the competition is ferocious, and the food is a bit better).Hunan New Jade does most things very well.They are mostly a take-out place (although they have a few tables) and they have an extensive menu and such go-to favories such as Won Ton soup and barbeque spare ribs are first rate.I find that their vegetable ingredients are always fresh and their sauces are tasty.Pork, shrimp and chicken dishes are best.  Beef is tasty, but can be a bit chewy.My wife particulary loves their eggplant dishes.Sesame cold noodles and pork fried rice can be a bit bland.Their Shrimp or Pork Egg Foo Young is some of the best I've had.  Anywhere.Sadly, there is no duck on the menu.  If only.....The one issue that costs them a star in this rating - avoid ordering any dish containing scallops - or whatever they are, but they're definitely not scallops.  Probably shark or skate.  Trust me on this point, as I have bought scallops directly off the boat in RI and know the difference.  I have found this to be a sticking point with many Chinese restaurants.All in all, Hunan New Jade is a cut above most of the Chinese take-out restaurants in the Pascack Valley.  I would be very happy to have a suitable eat-in restaurant of this quality.  Maybe some day, one will open again.....

Best Chinese take out we've found in the area. Quality ingredients prepared well. I recommend.
