EJT Custom Xteriors

Hired EJT to come an do a low slop roof on my 100+ year old house. Anyone that knows, old homes are full of surprises and some contractors may show up, but never follow up. Their team worked through issues that came up and got the job done, roof has been in for about 4 months now and no leaks through some serious downpours, they even made some miscellaneous repairs as they moved along. Great staff and team to work with, you won't be disappointed !

This company recently replaced a roof for me. Workmanship and responsiveness was very good. They did not take final payment until I was satisfied. They took the time to explain various things to me, such as attic fan operations. I am pleased with this company, they kept in contact and answered all questions that were asked. Provided a breakdown of all cost. Provide thier licensing and certification numbers along with a very good warranty (hopefully a warranty I will never need) but nonetheless it is peace of mind to have the warranty. I wanted to give an additional review for the follow through this company has and with keeping in contact. My experience has beem a very positive one with them. I held off on writing a review because the owner, Ed, was a nice guy. But, my troubles never waned, and so I digress. I had the roof on my home replaced in 2013 by EJT. My home was built in 1942 and has a 400 sqare foot section of flat roof. After a period of time the roof of the flat section leaked. The interior was ceiling tiles and he offered to replace the damaged sections only, with drywall. Obviously that wouldn't look right. The roof was allegedly repaired and yet it leaked again and again and again. EJT failed to properly diagnose and repair the roof and I continued to endure interior damage to my home. Finally, in 2019 I had two independent roofing contractors who inspected the roof and immediately identified the issue. As a result I had to replace the entire roof. I sucked it up in lieu of finger pointing and filing for legal reparations. In the end I am out $5000 for roof and interior repairs due to their inexperience and lack of accountability.

Great work very nice and professional. The work they do is beyond awesome. Waited to find the right company is work on our house from 1855. They did a amazing job.

Just used EJT for the second time. First time was 10 years ago to put a roof on the house. Latest job was a month ago replacing a rotted front entry and new exterior back door. Both times the crew was on-time, friendly, clean, and did great work. Will continue to use them for any exterior work on my house. Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof installation
