This practice use to be great! Calls are routed elsewhere, never directly to the office. It's almost like a 3rd party rep has to schedule you, if they can. The phone wait times are discouraging, when sick. Furthermore, the practice doesn't do a good job of notifying patients when a doctor leaves the practice. We are in the process of looking for another primary practice.

Hands down the WORST office you could ever be so unfortunate to have found. They very obviously care more about money than the patients. They also have SO many patients that to get a normal visit if you are sick, by the time they can fit you in and not with a main Dr. but with a real sorry nurse, you are already over the illness and just suffered through it since they just do not care. They dont tell you their policiesso when its time for something to be done by them, they suddenly have had policies in place for years on that VERY thing you now need that you just never got told (weird, right?). They will some days put you on hold for 6+minutes only to give you to someone who truly doesnt know their arse from their head. They are extremely incompetent. Rude. Nasty. Just a lot of old menopausal women (the lady who does the message on the main machine-dont even bother if shes the one answering because she is quite a miserable wench). Even when they have patients who are dealing with serious issues that may take about 3 minutes, they tell you the doctor will either call you or refill a script or fax something or basically anything requiring even the smallest effort and it doesnt get done so dont hold your breath! The office staff apparently isnt qualified (or trusted) to do the most simple tasks that every other office (including one that hires girls out of high school) has the staff do to make it easier on the doctor-any simple task needed they claim a dr has to do it in between patients but he must never leave his patients for even a MILLISECOND! Must be some man to never have even a second break to do even 1 task. And then when you get upset about waiting 3.5 hr for a 3 min task and it cant be done, they blame you since they have policies they never tell you about and they basically tell you about how they have 30 patients also waiting for the same thing that wont get done until MAYBE 8-9pm if at ALL. I havent ever seen SUCH incompetent office staff in my whole life its actually kind of astounding how the place hasnt gone up in literal flames because the office staff would probably say the doctor has to use the fire extinguisher if it was directly next to them or literally in their hands. Im not sure what the staff does other than answer the phone and put you on hold immediately, complain rudely, and not let people talk when they are upset that the office full of staff could not do even a simple necessary task. They have such an overwhelming amount of patients that they truly are DROWNING and cant handle the amount they took on and STILL I bet they will take on more when no one gets any type of care that even slightly feels like individual attention and real care. And the saddest thing is the ONLY person there who did anything good and was the only reason I chose to go to an Atlantic doctor (since normally they are so horrific and over crowded and grossly negligent in their responsibilities) she left (I dont blame her she saw the place was a joke and couldnt stand it either and was overworked and underpaid and always around people like her staff which I mean props to her I wouldnt last a second). So take away the only good doctor they had (cheers Dr R) and add about 500 patients and sprinkle some incompetence and menopause and add maybe a DASH of not caring even slightly about patients needs and YOU GOT THIS PLACE. Truly a dumpster fire of an office and I am not sure how they can still continue to run being THIS atrocious but Im sure that is why they have so many patients since they get money from each one. Thats literally the only reason they are running because it sure as sh* is not their great care and manner and doctors and staff and. Shall I continue or has the hint been made that this place/people are horrific and negligent? Cant send a complaint to the right people fast enough. It really is so bad. Just- stay far far away from these people. I just truly am grossed out by how they can even be a medical office and not care at all about patients in need-the greed is just shocking.

I cannot speak to the medical providers, all of whom come highly recommended. Unfortunately, I never got far enough in the scheduling process to actually see any of them. I called today to try and book a new patient appointment, and while the first person I spoke with was very nice, the woman he transferred me to was abrasive, short, and unhelpful. She told me there were no new patient appointments until February (when I can plainly see availability before then on the AHS website, mind you), and when I explained that the first gentleman I spoke with indicated that they might be able to fit me in sooner due to some symptoms I'd been experiencing, she just rudely repeated, "We don't have ANY NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS UNTIL FEBRUARY." No follow-up to ask if I wanted to book then, no offer to put me on a cancellation list, not even a pretense of concern. It was so off-putting that I just stammered "OK" and ended the call. I probably won't follow-up if that's the kind of front desk/patient experience I can expect, sadly. A bummer, as again, I'd heard great things about the medical care there.

Doctors here are amazing especially Dr. Rygielski and Janene Ruppert. Highly recommend being a patient here if you want a primary care physician who truly cares about you and your family.
