Saves the house! I reside in Phoenixville, and because of the way my home was constructed, water sometimes pools there from the roof's runoff and the ground's slope. A French drain already exists, but the sump pump failed. I just got a tiny pump to put in there because I didn't realize it would make a difference. Water filled my entire room in the end! The smaller pump was running, but water was flowing in. This one functions flawlessly once I installed it. I have a dry room. I used this pump and the smaller pump to empty a few rain barrels to compare the two. I love this pump! In a flash, the water was cleared. This pump has not failed me despite the fact that it has been pouring here for days. This pump has my highest recommendation. It is located in the French drain basin outside, next to my house's foundation. In the area where water collects against the house, I also purchased a water barrier and placed it there. It appears like the water is kept out between the barrier and this pump.
