A country church small enough that everyone knows your name, but with a heart so big it pushes the rafters. They hold great rummage sales of anything/everything you could name, 3 times a year and an old fashioned holiday bazaar with crafts, silent auction, and holiday decorations galore, in November. They have Sunday services at 10am and Sunday school during the school year. A charming community of people always looking to welcome a new face and lend a hand!

My motorcycle broke down in front of this church. Was instructed by a local police officer to pull into the church parking lot while we waited for help. As the truck arrives and were trying to load my motorcycle into the back of the truck a lady in a Lexus SUV pulls up and gets out and is immediately nasty with us asking us how long were going to have our "stuff" in her lot as it's not a public parking lot. I said ma'm I'm just trying to tow my bike out that's all. She was just rude and obnoxious . Point is a church is supposed to be a pillar of the community and look to help and assist not belittle and rude to the "public". Couldve lost my life today riding that bike and luckily my bike broke down right in front of this church. As a church try and be more considerate to the people in need and are clearly down.

I love the community at Green Village United Methodist Church. The people are caring and extremely welcoming - I truly found a home here when I moved back to the area after being away for many years. It's a quiet, warm place where you can escape the modern world. Sunday services are therapeutic and reflective but still engaging. Highly recommend attending services here if you're looking for an old-fashioned, small-community experience.
