I highly recommend Russ and his team. They did a phenomenal job redoing our back yard, front walkway, and chimney - all during the hottest weeks of the summer. Russ kept us updated throughout the entire project and always responded quickly when we reached out with questions. He clearly has a passion for what he does and it's evident in the work. Every time I walk up to my home or walk through the back yard I can't help but smile in awe. Russ exceeded our expectations and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

I rarely if ever leave reviews, but I can't say enough about Russ Gallo. Meticulous, precise, communicative and above all skilled. We are thrilled with the work he did. He was able to identify potential problems and resolve them before they became an issue leaving us with finished product that was better than we expected. I would hire him again for any masonry work we would ever need.

Stop the search!  If you're looking for someone who does outstanding work because they are experienced in their trade, look no further.  We hired Russ to replace our firebox and apron.  Our firebox had deteriorated over the years and now there was a hole in the floor with the firebox bricks falling apart.   From our initial contact on the phone, his visit for the estimate, and through the end of the job, his communication was superb.  Since this was a small privately owned company, Russ and his co-worker did all the work themselves.  You won't get that personal attention if you hire a large commercial company.  If you're worried about all the dust and debris that came from the drilling and hammering, don't worry.  Russ and his co-worker neatly wrapped, sealed, and covered any heavy furniture he or I couldn't move as well as the window treatments.  They also covered the floor as well as closed off each entry way to the room so the dust wouldn't float to other parts of the house. Their clean-up was just as impressive.  Mopping our floors, cleaning the windows, and making sure everything was the way it was when they arrived.  We thought the price for this job was fair and reasonable because it was very labor intensive.  We wouldn't hesitate to hire Russ again and would recommend him for any masonry work, especially a fireplace/chimney.

I hired Russ Gallo to install a new driveway, Belgium block, border, a brick apron, a brick walkway and new front steps. After interviewing 5 local masons I hired Russ because he was the most responsive and the most hands on. He isn't afraid to get dirty and gets back to you when you call. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend him. I will use him again in the future.
