Sals Painting Carpentry

There is really no other way to say it -- Sal has been a Godsend. We recently moved to NJ and did a pretty large renovation of a two bedroom apartment due to shoddy work from previous owners. Sal completely reframed the apartment and even helped with designing. He has been honest, professional, responsive, fair, and most importantly, does impeccable work. The quality and attention to detail really sets Sal and his company above the rest. He is also putting in windows for us and needless to say, Sal's Carpenty & Painting will be our first call with any home repairs and projects in the future. We wanted to install a new first floor bathroom (5' x 10.5') and decided to use Sal after reading the glowing reviews on Google and talking to a number of references that he gave us. Sal framed the space, installed all of the necessary bracing for two heated towel racks, a legless vanity, a 6' suspended swivel medicine cabinet, a seat and grab bar in the shower. Additionally, Sal installed the flooring to support electric floor heating and a curb-less shower. He has a number of licensed contractors (plumber, electrician, tile guy) who he brings in to help. In addition to the bathroom, he painted an adjoining room with multiple windows The work was done beautifully, and took 5 weeks from start to finish. Sal is an excellent communicator, each day checking in to make sure that we were satisfied with the work and to review any changes that needed to be made, such as a barn door (his idea) versus a swing door, which made a tight space even tighter. We are really pleased with Sal's work and plan on using him again in the future. Sal has done several repairs, renovations and construction projects for us over the past 15 years. He has great suggestions and does amazing work no matter what the project involves. Highly recommended for any job you have!

He came in and help us replaced one bathroom window. The work was completed as promised. No problem with it.
