Food was just fair. Remember several years back that this was one of my favorite places but have been disappointed the last few times I've come here.

This was probably the 4th time I've visited. Tonight I had a seafood risotto that was incredible. This restaurant never disappoints with nice specials, diversified menu, and friendly service. Highly recommend â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

San marzano is closed. There's a new place opening soon. Very sudden and random closing. Went for dinner last Thursday and was met with a construction crew laying tile.

I just went there yesterday with a large party of people. We had a outstanding waitress , she was able to handle the large crowd and not get overwhelmed. She was a great part of my experience. I also loved the atmosphere of the place. It’s perfect, right in town and definitely is able to accommodate a large group of people. The wait was not bad for our food considering the large amount of people. I was impressed with the place because of previous visits here.

We were so disappointed with the meal that we got at San Marzano last night. I actually do not know where to begin. We had been to San Marzano a number of times in the past and it has always been a very good and enjoyable experience and meal. We received a gift certificate from a friend to use there so were very excited we got use it and anticipated a very good meal as we have always had in the past. Upon meeting out waitress, we were told that that restaurant got new owners about a month ago and were changing the name to Panini Grill and made reference that it was for the better. She also told us that there were a few changes made to the menu as a result of the new ownership. One of the changes was that salad was no longer included with the meal. Also, we noted that the entree prices were also more expensive...take the salad away and, in addition, raise the price???? We said let's wait and see what the food is like. Well, to start, the Eggplant Rollatini was made with cheese that was turning sour/bad. As a replacement, my family member ordered the Penne with Vodka sauce. It was made with whole wheat pasta, that was not noted, and, in addition, the sauce tasted and looked like it was from a jar of Ragu or something and was all mushy. I ordered the salmon dish. I always order salmon and really looked forward to it here. The piece of salmon was half the normal serving size of salmon and was served with a half cup of spinach-no starch came with the meal. For $27.00 I would expect to get a decent serving of the salmon and a starch with the meal. I mentioned that to the waitress; she said she would let the chef know. She ended up coming back with a small piece of salmon added to the plate so it was more of a normal portion, however, the salmon was so overcooked and DRY it had absolutely NO flavor in it. Lastly, my husband ordered chicken francaise and the chicken was DRY and OVERCOOKED! The waitress truly felt bad that we had all these problems with our meals that she offered a nutella pizza on the house. A nice jester, however, too sweet to even finish and enjoy. At that point what could correct the poor quality of food that we experienced!! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a restaurant of such poor quality to anyone. As a new owner of a restaurant, I would go above and beyond to make sure that the quality and flavor of the food is top notch so as to keep the customers coming back and get people to spread the word. This is certainly not the way to maintain and/or get new customers. So very, very, very disappointed!!!!
