Freeman Funeral Home

Like someone else said in their review, this was the first time I felt compelled to review a funeral home. My grandfather passed suddenly and all arrangements literally needed to be made in one day. The staff at Freeman assisted my father through the entire process calmly, respectfully and thoroughly (there's so much more to think about when planning a funeral than I think most of us realize). They did a wonderful job preparing my grandfather for the viewing and coordinating every other aspect of the services, including transportation for immediate family to and from the church. Although we all hope to never have to go through this, we know death is inevitable and should my family need assistance in this part of NJ again we'd use Freeman.

My mother-in-law had to be laid to rest and we originally were going to use their Freehold location since we lived closer to there but they informed us that since we expected to have a large viewing that we would be best utilizing their Manalapan location since they have the largest chapel in the area that fit our extremely large family and friends. There had to be at least 250 people in and out throughout the service and they were very attentive throughout the whole thing. They made it extremely easy dealing with the whole process and walked us through everything from the beginning to the end. They were amazing enough to make more prayer cards for us since we were running low since everyone was taking multiple and more people showed up than we expected. Originally we were not sure how the parking situation was and how it would work however they actually have the lot next door which holds a good amount of cars and everything went so smooth that night. My husband and his family were very happy with how everything went. Some of the kids also snuck away to get some Rita's and I really wish we had the family together on better circumstances but everything was beautiful and she was truly honored the way she should have been. I sent them a thank you card from husband and I and explained how amazing everything was and I had no complaints.

First time I can say I have decided to review a funeral home but I was compelled to write this review after my families expierience dealing with the death of my ma ma. I have not been able to share this since I have been studying for tests the past few months but I have time now to get back to my normal reviews. My family was pleased with how they were able to accommodate the traditions of my family and I am just very happy to see them smile and know that the service provided was amazing. I tear up just thinking about it and I know my family will be use them for the future. They are very nice and helping and although the funeral was small they still tended to us with our needs. I hope that my family does not have to use them again any time soon but if we do we will use them. Come from Old bridge is not the shortest drive but worth it.
