image So I am writing this sitting in the ER I been waiting for 2 hours waiting to be called in ..the ER is NOT full yet they are taking so long to call, staff seem very unapologetic about the situation I was very please with the waiting time in the past at this hospital but as of today 2-01-2024 at 11:37pm I can honestly say avoid the hospital service truly has gone down I am in excruciating ear pain and it seems as if I am gonna be here the whole night jaw is numb of pain

image i have to say this is one good ER, at least for my previous experiences and conditions, and that of my mother. Too bad you have to go to the ER to get this excellent quality care, as it would be better if they also had that diligence at their outpatient clinics that they manage. The doctors and nurses at those satellite Englewood Health Physicians networks, with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 docs, do a poor job - the minimum 15-20 minute exam and then rush you out the door with the usual copy and paste notes of medications and conditions instead of doing an actual reconciliation and full differential exam to see what is really going on. But I Don't hesitate to go to the Englewood HMC ER. Great ER docs there like Dr. Ajay Jetley, who is the real McCoy, and others with good knowledge, communication skills, and bedside manner and not afraid to give you the bottom line. i acknowledge that others did not have good experiences here and I guess it all depends on who you get as attending, and maybe other circumstances so I can only speak from my personal experience at the ER. The outpatient Englewood Health Physician Network offices however, are a different story altogether - use those with due caution, unless you are lucky to get a superb physician like Dr. Catherine Laiosa, MD, who also has a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry. Just Stay away from Dr. Healy, D.O., an osteopathic doctor, and her APN, Nita B. Casimiro both of whom I regard as misinformed, dangerous, and lacking in diligence, based on my experiences.

image I went to ER on 11/723. , with really bad cough, wheezing in chest very short of breath and no voice. My ribs were hurting so much from coughing and being able to breathe I also had lots of mucus mixed with some blood coming up from my cough.
Doctor in er did chest X-ray said she could hear how difficult it was for me to breathe with the cough . I was told X-ray was fine given 2 Tylenol prescribed cough medication to pick up at pharmacy and sent home, even though I was wheezing, couldnt breathe or talk from the cough.
That night was really tough I spent the night with heating pad on my chest and sat up all night since I couldnt breathe.
The following day was even worse, my doctor couldnt believe I was sent home without any treatment at hospital The least they could have done was to give me a nebulizer treatment before sending me home.
My insurance company couldnt believe I was sent home without any treatment just give 2 tylenols, if you get worse come back and make sure to take pictures of mucus that comes up.
Doctor in er said I probably had something viral , but when I spoke to my doctor the er notes said I had acute bronchitis.
This er gives 2 Tylenols and sends you home with acute bronchitis, come back if you get worse or if you stop breathing.
Crazy terrible care
