placed an order for a printer with delivery date March 8. UPS update said the item was returned to sender. Called the company, they said it was a shipment mistake on their end, so they will overnight it. 2-3 days later, nothing. Called customer service who said the item was never in stock. Asked for a refund, 1 week later still nothing. Don't buy from them!

I reached out to trade in equipment. The process took much longer than expected, even after the equipment got there and we got the email saying we would be contacted in a week or so, we didn't hear back for close to 3-4 weeks. Everyone who reached out to us was rude and seemed to be inconvenienced by us, except Josh R he was the only helpful person in the whole process, he was my initial point of contact when sending our equipment in. At some point I had someone call me to tell me the quote for the equipment over the phone, I cannot remember their name, but they asked if I or my husbands were in charge. First off Husbands with an S?! and there is no indication through last name or contact that could have been mistaken that I or the two owners of the company, who had been in contact with them were married. And what a thing to ask??? I found whoever this person was extremely unprofessional. I thought this had been a good idea it was not and the only reason we didn't ask for our equipment back was because it was that much more work to get it back and sell it somewhere else. I will not be dealing with Adorama again.

This place is a total joke. I placed an order through Amazon and they shipped the order in 4 separate boxes. Two via UPS and 2 via USPS. The 2 that went UPS were addressed incorrectly. So I have yet to receive them. They sent me via email the proof of delivery. Yea, it was proof that the packages were delivered to the wrong address. After they provided this proof. Now they refuse to give me a refund until UPS verifies their lost package claim. Well, they already verified it by showing them the packages went to the wrong address. It's already been 5 business days of going back and forth with them. Now they want me another 10 days for UPS to pay them before they will issue a refund. That's if I ever get a refund. They seem to want to place the blame on others when it was them who messed up. I would never do business with this company again. Update, January 17, 2022. I had to pay to ship to two small items back to them before they would issue any refund. I emailed them telling them THAT according to UPS they approved the claim. They responded by saying "thank you for letting us know that the claim was approved. We send this info on to our return dept. Never deal with them again.

Do your research on the Better Business Bureau in addition to other review websites. Adorama is a scam. Jack G., Josh R. and Alba still work here. They will play games having you call someone who isn't them. They won't answer their phones. Estimate given for my equipment before I sent it off was up to 70% of resale value of ~950. I had to tell them 3 times to send my stuff back. Instead of doing so I was told my estimate for pristine equipment was actually $140. Nearly a month after sending them package I was able to get one of them on the phone. Will post more details on the Better Business Bureau complaint I'm working on. As many others will tell you online, Adorama is a straight scam, don't do business with them.
