Avis Car Rental

Was given a car that had a gas leak and when I noticed it they couldnt find anyone to tow the car to get me a replacement but instead wanted me to drive over an hour to bring the car back. I was not even reimbursed for the gas that leaked out of the car. Instead they gladly decided to charge me for another day of having the replacement vehicle. Unless you like being stranded in a dark parking lot at 3 am with no assistance from Avis I do not recommend. But if thats your thing the by all means be my guest!

I needed a car for 3 hours and the cost was $224. My plane landed in Atlantic City instead of Baltimore due to weather. The airline offered no way to get to Baltimore so I just needed to rent a car for 3 hours to get to the Baltimore airport. I think $224 for three hours is outrageous.

Avis is running a scam making it difficult to make an airport drop off for a one way rental. It cost me twice as much as it should have. The car I received reeked of cigarettes and febreze even though it was a non smoking vehicle with stickers on the windows citing a 400$ cleaning fee. Clearly, Avis didnt spend the 400$ on cleaning the car. You see their response below. I reached out as directed a week ago, and no one got back with me. I'm not surprised. Avis should take a lesson in customer service from Enterprise!
