They are super understaffed. The patients might as well run the place. Theres no sense of urgency. If you can take the drive to somewhere else, do that!

I would not recommend going to this hospital. Yesterday my brother needed to be drove to the ER because he was nervous that he was having symptoms that were similar to a stroke. We spent 9 hours at this facility yesterday. He checked into the facility around 11:30 am yesterday and they checked him into the ER relatively fast. They put him into a shared room where there were 6 other patients waiting to be helped. They did multiple rounds of blood work and a CT scan which took hours with no updates from any of the nurses. None of the nurses were communicating with each other and it was very obvious by how they were talking to the other patients that were in the room with us. One of the girls in the room was very distressed and obviously in pain and went to talk to one of the nurses and when she came back into the room the nurse she talked to in the hallway said "i'm not your nurse" and told her to go back to the room. That girl eventually got a nurse to come into the room around 8pm and that nurse condescendingly talked to everyone in the room and stated that everyone that is in this room isnt an urgent issue. All of our test work results are coming back with good results and there are people that need to be seen before us because they have actual issues and we arent considered the sickies. She also stated that there are 100 other people that have more issues than everyone in the room and that we need to just keep being patient and that every hospital is currently running this way post COVID its not just this hospital. She eventually comes back and tells my brother which doctor was assigned to read his CT scan. When my brother asked if he could leave because he wasnt considered a sickie the nurse asked what his symptoms were and when he listed them off she stated those arent normal you shouldnt be leaving with those symptoms you have to stay until you get your test results back She then disappeared and stopped coming into the room. Around 9:30 pm my brother is starting to get frustrated because no one is giving us any answers and everyone in the room is upset. My boyfriend and I eventually walk up to the nurses station and ask a nurse if they can give us an update and see if there is any progress. She gives a different doctors name and states he just got here and that he is going to go to that room but it could be here anywhere between 5-30 minutes. The doctor does eventually get to our room and he was pleasant and was able to give us a referral to a neurologist but he also mentioned that my brother could be getting some of these symptoms from anxiety. It is insane to have someone sit at an ER for almost 10 hours with no actual help other than 10 minutes before they get discharged. The lack of empathy from the nursing staff was atrocious and I hope that whoever is reading this never has to experience it firsthand.
