The Joyful Living Yoga Center

Really unique experience along the Jersey shore with an array of classes for many age groups. Lots of experimental classes like black light and glow in the dark yoga. Not just your typical selection of flow classes, either - chock full of meditative and restorative classes and workshops. The owner, Nicky, is very open to consulting and suggestions - she is promoting a community feel rather than just isolated classes, which I think helps ease into a practice. She also exudes smiles, hugs, and love - step inside and you'll see what I mean. All in all, I'd say there's just about something for everyone here, with the lowest price margin in the general area. The Joyful Living Center is a lovely, supportive environment for healing. I hadn't taken a yoga class in over eight years, and I needed to start slowly. Kim teaches Gentle Yoga classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the morning, and she is helping me so much! I love the Gentle Yoga classes, and so does my body. I am doing yoga for pain management, and after one month of practice, I am already feeling an improvement in my balance, flexibility and stamina! You've got to sign up for classes at the center; there are lots of great classes to choose from!
