Brooks Brothers Painting

We hired Brooks Brothers to paint our two story high entrance foyer. On the initial visit by their representative (Jerome) we discussed in detail what needed to be done: which walls, doors, molding, etc. Including crown molding not present at the time but that would be installed prior to the time they would show up to paint. We even asked about having them install the crown molding, but Jerome indicated they only paint, they don't install molding. We were assured by Jerome the job was not big, would take at most 3 days with possibly 4th day to spare. He took pictures of the two story foyer and gave us a rough estimate which sounded reasonable and that he would email a written estimate. In further conversation Jerome expressed it was a family business and every one of the relatives in the business were fully vested and engaged, so we felt very good and positive about hiring them. So, we waited for the written estimate, which we ended up having to ask for. The estimate we received via email was right around the cost indicated by Jerome. The written estimate had a photo of just the upper level of the two story foyer and omitted any mention of the crown molding. We mistakenly accepted the written estimate as rough draft with the clear understanding of what was discussed in the initial visit, we took Jerome at his word. Job got scheduled and then pushed back a week, which we had no problem with. The day of the job arrived and to our surprise only one worker was given the assignment, we expected two to be working the two story foyer. The painter (Isaiah) was very nice, hard worker and accommodating. Unfortunately after day 1 Isaiah was rushed by the foreman (Troy) to finish the job by the end of day 2. To our dismay the crown molding was not painted and some of the base molding at the first level of the two story foyer was left unpainted. After much talk with Troy he assured us that they would come back to finish the job. We took him at his word and paid him in full for what is to date an incomplete job. It is a month later, have not hear from Brooks Brothers and we will certainly not allow them back in our home, hire them again or recommend them at all. We had the pleasure of being referred to Brooks Brothers for interior painting.  I could tell from the initial visit that Jerome was very passionate about his work.  He even explained the importance of each layer as well as the chemical components.  We hired them to paint bedrooms, laundry room, coat closet, and they stripped/refinshed/painted the kitchen cabinets as well as the master bath cabinets.  He took pictures during the estimate and told me when to expect the quote.  The quote was detailed with pricing breakdown not only for labor vs materials, but also by room.  I ended up getting it all done plus some, but knowing that I had the option and could adjust based on my budget was great.  Day 1 of the job, he arrived as scheduled, introduced the staff to us, and explained what the week would look like.  They thoroughly prepped to make sure we didn't have any damage as we had just had new carpeting installed.  Throughout the entire job the communication was top notch. I ask alot of questions when I'm spending alot of money and I appreciate that he took time to make sure all of our questions were always answered and we never felt like we were being rushed.  I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to friends. We recently contacted Brooks Brothers for some power washing services. They showed up on time, early in fact. They took extra time to walk me around the house to make sure they hit the areas of need. They were friendly and very professional. The finished product left me stunned. See we had just moved into a new house with a neglected white fence in need of a deep cleaning, well they did just that. Our fence looks brand new! All the walkways, driveway and even paver stones were done too! 10/10 would hire them again to power wash! We are also planning on using them for some home painting projects! Highly recommended and very affordable!

When my husband and I decided we wanted to paint the exterior of our home, I quickly did a google search of nearby painters and found Brooks Brothers Painting. From the very first introduction I could tell Jerome was so knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Jerome not only answered every question and concern I had, but made sure I was satisfied every step of the way. He was so honest and transparent down to the final details, I felt so reassured working with him. With so much experience, he was able to help me decide on the perfect color after the original color I chose was not to my liking. I showed him my “inspiration” photo and he suggested the color we ultimately ended up choosing and it was absolutely perfect! It felt as though we were his only customers, that is how attentive and helpful he was! Joe and Troy who painted our house did not leave until every square inch was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I would recommend Jerome and his team at Brooks Brothers over and over again! Our home looks brand new and is everything we wanted! We had a fantastic experience with Brooks Brothers Painting (BBP). They exceeded expectations in all three respects that really count: quality of work, value, and professionalism. The work looked fantastic. It was obvious from watching the team in action that everyone cared about the quality of the job they did and that that attitude started at the top, with BBP's owners. BBP stands behind its work. E.g., they said before they started that if the finish on the paint wasn't uniform after it dried, they'd be back to fix it; but the finish was perfect. The price BBP quoted us (and delivered on) was extremely fair--a significant discount compared to what other companies offered. And the entire team was hard-working every day, from the time they got started in the morning until the time they wrapped up. A first rate experience all around. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend BBP, and we've already booked them for another project! Service: Interior decorating
