Table 8 Bistro

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. The comfortable bistro is the perefect date night place. We brought wine, had an amazing flatbread appetizer, we chose the tomato bisque which was out of this world then an ample portion of pasta with sausage and mushrooms. I would check this place out before listening to obviously personal insults.

Have no respect for a restaurant when it's employees constantly hang outside and smoke. They have even taken to sitting on the steps by an entrance for condominiums next door. Pathetic is how I rate the character of the staff.

I have been there twice and found the food very good. It was not Le Bec Fin, but the owner was very accommodating when I dropped in and did not want the Restaurant Menu offered. I was most pleased and went back for an equally lovely evening. Agreed, the waitresses were really beginners but made a sincere effort to please.

Don't know where those other people ate! We have been here three times and (obviously) have enjoyed our meals here. The value especially is outstanding; generous portions and well-prepared quality dishes. Have enjoyed the sesame tuna (which I usually avoid) and found it very fresh; near sushi quality. The salads are excellent and a house salad is included with entrees; they upgraded the included house salad to the very fresh, nicely seasoned and excellent Caesar for a small upcharge. We are sharers and were also happy that they divided the salad in the kitchen which is more convenient. They have daily specials and a good variety of Italian style dishes with a bit more finesse than the usual red gravy; an excellent tortellini assortment comes to mind. As to service and cleanliness, these have in now way been an issue. The staff is friendly and helpful.
