Abakidz

My twin sons (7 years old) started Abakidz a few months before the pandemic shut the schools down. Abakidz very quickly transitioned to virtual learning and they are the main reason I did not worry about my sons' math learning loss during this time. I have been immensely happy with my sons' growth in math and I get very excited when they do their Amsan homework and I can see them pretending to use the abacus in their heads. During parent-teacher conferences, their teachers always remark upon their strong math skills and I am positive Abakidz has contributed to their success in the classroom. I find great value in having children perform quick and accurate mental math. I am a high school physics teacher and my top students are always the ones who have a facility with mental math. Lastly, I wanted to express my appreciation for Ms. Hwang, my children's teacher. She is always extremely patient and handles their (occasional) grumpiness with kindness.

We love Abakids. From administration to teacher . Very professional and accommodating our children needs. Ms. Sunny is best . She takes her time with my kid . She is so consistent and so patient. The other day we had a surprise visit( virtual) from Master Lee. That was a nice gesture motivating kids to follow her steps and maybe one day they can be better ;)

Both my children have been taking lessons from Master Lee for the past 4 years and they still love it! Even throughout the pandemic it has been wonderful for my children to be able to continue taking lessons virtually with Master Lee. They can do mental math calculations faster than I can even take out my calculator! Learning the abacus not only helps with their math skills. It has helped them to focus better, increase their concentration and build their confidence. Master Lee and her staff are excellent and very professional. I highly recommend Abakidz!!

My older daughter has been with Abakids for 4 years and younger one for 2 years. The instructors they have over the years (Ms. Sunny, Mrs. Hwang & Master Lee) are all professional and helpful, and they truly care about my girl's progress. Growing up learning abacus myself, I appreciate how learning abacus helps my daughters to understanding the base ten math concept visually and kinetically, as well to increase their mental math computation efficiency. It also is a great way for multiplication facts drill :) I would highly recommended Abakidz to all parents who would want to help their kids excel in math.
