Wynwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

My brother has been a resident at Wynwood for 3 years now and I am very thankful for the staff that have helped take care of him. They truly care for their patients.

DOESN'T DESERVE 1 STAR. I do not understand why there are so many decent reviews. The building is run down, smells like urine & is beyond filthy. Staff is questionable, at best. They do not attend to patients adequately, saying they're under staffed at night (an important time that requires extra staff). The food is horrible, as well as the disgusting ice machine. I'm so glad that someone put a picture up for the public to see that ice machine. This is not a good place for out-of-the hospital rehab OR as a place to put your elderly loved one. Please, please, please take a tour of this place if you are still thinking about using it. I would've never allowed my loved one to be put here if I had simply come in one time beforehand. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

This place is a joke. An if u love your family members please do not bring them to this facility. The care is poor . The staff is nasty an have no bed side manners. I'm in the process of looking for somewhere else for my mother to go due to how bad this place is. There feeding these poor people food I wouldn't even give my dog. I my self have witnessed how bad they treat abused and ignore the non verbal patience an patience with no family. Oh an they don't get any food after 6 pm. There being given ice from a machine that is rusted an has a white film on it. So I'm definitely getting my mom's blood work checked cause that can't be healthy for her body. It's just sad. An the only staff that has been any help is the young lady who does registration. If I'm honest she's who should be running the place. She's the only staff I see that cares more about the patience than being her staff's friend. It's sad and I'm very disappointed so if I was you find another facility trust me. But the physical therapy department is top-notch I will give them that I can't give this facility anything else but the physical therapy girls they know what they are doing.
