Dr. Akkapeddii was the best Physician to not only me, but my entire family. I could approach her with any health concerns, and felt confident enough to leave her office feeling safe. I never doubted her ability to find a resolution or even knowing exactly what I was undergoing as her patient she knew me better than I knew myself.
When she transitioned into Atlantic Health she was not treated fairly at all. I could recall her tearful eyes while she told me about her restrictions regarding communication towards her patients who she’s known for years. You see her patients followed her wherever she went, because of her dedication to their health, and well being. It was not only her who they forced to relocate. Their loss was exactly that!
Dr. Akkapedii would be so mad if I did not mention that she saved my sister’s life. You see my sister who has been employed by Atlantic Health for over 20 years was admitted to her own hospital for 11 days where I watched her deteriorate and 9 Infectious doctors had no clue what was wrong. I remember having an appointment with Dr. Akkapeddii and explaining with tears in my eyes that my sister was dying. I FaceTimed her, and after answering a few questions…… My sister was directed to tell the lead Doctor (who of course Dr. Akkapedii knew) to run blood work for certain infections which I couldn’t mention, and SHE MADE SURE TO TELL MY SISTER TO ALSO MENTION WHAT HER Diagnostic was . You see Dr. Akkapeddii was not only the best doctor to many she was family!!
My family, and I followed her to the last place.she would ever work in. Who would’ve known!!!! 😭 I remember walking into that office, and watching Dr. Akkapeddii’s eyes light up as she was able to display her accomplishments with pride. The restrictions had been lifted almost as if her life sentence had been served. Only now do I realize that she completed her mission here on Earth working at her own office doing what she loved to do “Care for her patients”!!!!
I will forever miss her as many who had the pleasure to call this precious gifted woman their doctor.
May you Rest in devine peace my beautiful doctor. I love, and miss you so much… 💔🙏

I couldn’t recommend Dr Akkapeddi more! She was highly recommended by many in my town when i was looking to switch my doctor to be closer to home! She has great bedside manner, takes the time to go through everything with you, is thorough, kind and will do whatever she can to ensure you’re in optimal health. I will continue to recommend her to friends and family and go to her for years and years to come!

Dr. Akkapeddi is an outstanding clinician with an excellent bedside manner. She is dedicated to her patients physical health and overall well being. I've been her patient for years and give her my highest recommendation!
