Echelon Protection & Surveillance

Worked there for a month. Was never able to get hours even though I put in for dates. One of the worst "security" companies to work for. Oh yeah! They don't really secure your business's either.

I worked for Echelon for the better part of three years. As employers, they were respectful, organized and caring. They provided excellent training for their officers and each job is handled with a deft, professional hand. I would definitely recommend them as employers and as a potential contract for anyone's security needs.

Our business signed a contract with the above company (three weeks in advance) to provide security at three hotels in Philadelphia. One day prior to the service date I receive a voicemail and email from Melissa Spivey to inform me that unfortunately they could not supply the coverage because they were short staffed. When I reached back out to Melissa all she could say was "I'm sorry and speak with our sale's department". When I asked to speak with a supervisor she stated she did not have one. I found that hard to believe since she wasn't the owner of the company! I then followed it up with an email to the Director of Sales Ben Visnov and Ben Visnov the main contacts for this company requesting an immediate call back. I received a call back from Ben Visnov who stated this wasn't his fault because he's been working so hard on finding staffing for our three sites that he's gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for us! I asked why on earth would you have not shared that the services were based upon availability during our initial phone conversation and within YOUR CONTRACT. He stated it is what it is and HAPPY NEW YEAR. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY AND I ADVISE TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR SECURITY NEEDS! IF I COULD RATE WITH ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!
