O stars. Had to list one star just to be able to post. Lousy experience. Cancelled policy and was refunded $175 out of $1079 payment. The remainder was charged for two weeks of coverage. Horrible experience and would not recommend Selective to anyone. After numerous phone calls, Selective did come back to refund the entire amount.

Price Increase. Second year premium increased 40% upon renewal after first year of coverage with no real explanation and no claims or changes to policy risks. Since renewal we did have a claim and the claims experience has been horrendous. Would not recommend.

My car was struck by another driver. I called my insurance agent and sent him pictures and details regarding the incident. I received a call from the claims adjuster in less than 24 hours. She asked for a verbal description of the incident and I received electronic payment notification by the end of the day! My insurance broker recommended this company. I was not familiar with the company before that. I have complete confidence in them after the efficient handling of my claim. Superb!!
