It's family run and they make you feel like part of the family. There's jiu-jitsu, kick boxing, MMA, and fitness. For kids through seniors. It doesn't matter what level you're at. This is an excellent gym.

I walked into SJBJJ, after training a couple years at other reputable gyms in the area. NONE of them have shown me love, the way that SJBJJ has. Professor Steve and his family (& the entire gym) have shown me that its deeper then just business. They are consistently helping me elevate every aspect of my game & my life. I've found a home, and a second family at this sanctuary. Theres no place Id rather be. From first timers, hobbyist, to the highest level of competition and combat athletes and self defense.. South Jersey BJJ has it all & is for everybody. MMA, BJJ/No Gi, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Yoga, Fitness, Youth & Senior classes. Everyone who trains here is so helpful, welcoming & makes you want to come back. If you're reading this, Trying to find a home, this is your sign. Hopefully you'll be joining us soon!

I have been training for 6 years and have spent the last three at SJBJJ. I am actively competing as a purple belt under prof Bongiorno and could not recommend SJBJJ highly enough! I live in Philly but drive across state lines nearly every night to train here. The atmosphere is wonderful for anyone from the casual hobbyist to elite competitor. There is a very strong family vibe and almost all of the classes have multiple upper rank women to train with (a rarity in combat sports!). The facilities are large and immaculately clean. There are morning, afternoon, and evening classes for fundamentals, all levels, and advanced technique nearly every day of the week. They also have an incredible MMA squad with handfuls of championship belts. I could not recommend SJBJJ enough!
