My son started Kumon at the main street woodbridge center when he started 1st grade and continue to do it today when he is in 5th grade and still going strong. Was it easy to make him start, yes! he was a little kid and all excited to get a new kumon bag and talk to all these nice teachers. But the challenge came when he was given homework and there were multiple books with multiple sheets . That’s where Mrs Ranjana the owner of the center played a pivotal role in making my son understand the importance of doing the homework and how it is going to help him in coming future. It took my son sometime to get used to the work but once he got a hang of it, he started to see how big of a difference it makes when he does his school work. The school work became a piece of cake for him. He has always been 2 grade level up than his classmates. It has made everything at school a lot easier for him and for me as I don’t have to sit or push him to finish his work. He just finishes it all on its own without complaining as now problem solving skills come very naturally to him. Sending my son to Kumon and especially to Mrs Ranjana’s center is one of the best choices I have ever made.
