It is "Not open per se"! IOW you aren't allowed access to the inside. You call ahead for the book or ISBN your looking for and/or ring the entry way bell and they bring the book(s) to you. Stating that it's Open for Business as usual is misleading.

Needed to print a form from the Middletown library which was necessary to be completed ahead of time before getting my taxes done there. Was able to easily get on one of their computers. While I was there I needed to call the Middletown Library because I was having trouble locating form and no one seemed to mind that I had to talk on the phone. Librarian helped me print form and I was in and out of there in no time.

The library is fine, but I am astounded by the noise...patrons and staff equally loud and too distracting to concentrate. Maybe I am old school, but isn't the library supposed to be a place I can study or read. I felt like I needed to shush the librarian
