Our 110 years old floor is straight again! My husband and I purchased 110 year old home with uneven flooring caused by failing joists and saggy beam in the crawl space. Lost my home during Superstorm Sandy. After receiving estimates from several contractors I chose Pete Sommer. He met with me and my wife, reviewed my architectural plans, and explained his entire process in detail. During the lift he informed me of some items, not on the plans, that would be problematic down the road if not fixed. Pete absorbed the costs of the necessary additional repairs never asking for a change order. Who does that in today's world. I knew Pete Sommer was the man for my job the first time we talked. Had a great experience with him. Pete and his crew have been doing this for a long time and there work and knowledge show for it. Excellent company. Peter Sommer and his crew were able to perform all work on our home with the utmost of professional quality craftsmanship to last for generations to come. All work was performed promptly and according to schedule. Peter has wonderful communication skills and is very personable . A very honest hard working man who goes above and beyond to make sure we were very happy and satisfied with the quality of the work involved in restoring our home to its original condition.
