Allamuchy Auto Recycling

The guy who answered the phone is either a liar or prejudice against southerners. I have been searching for a rim for the front tire of my 2016 Smart Fortwo Prime. A friend from Louisiana who owns and runs a parts shop was able to find one for me and called Alamuchy to confirm that they did indeed have one and would sell it for $75. Of course, shipping would have to be paid too. No problem. The friend gave me the phone number. I called and was spoken to extremely rudely and was told he'd "have to check to see if they had one" and I'd have to call back in half an hour. I called back. Again, totally rude guy said, "don't have one". Because of his tone and shortness with me, I didn't question that he DID have one. I thanked him and hung up. I called my Louisiana friend. Told him what happened. HE decided to call Alamuchy with intention of paying for the rim and then having it sent to me and I would reimburse him. Sounds like same guy answered phone. Rudely told my friend, "yeh, I don't have one" and then he promptly hung up the phone. Bad customer service, totally unprofessional, just plain being a JERK. I guess the good reviews here are from locals.

Super disrespectful guy on the customer service. Ask him for a driver seat switch that they have in stock and he said like: do you thing I want to spend my time to remove that switch for you for a $100 bucks? Would you do it? I said yes, and you have that parts listed for sale for $100 and you probably looking to sell it. Than he just hang up.
