Delicious! The pumpkin chestnut soup was warming, and an ideal portion. Our appetizers were likewise delicious and again, a "comfortable" sized dish - not too much, yet not a skimpy serving. We both ordered the specials, a beef stew and a veal schnitzel, and they were flavorful, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. A new favorite!

This restaurant was excellent! I have gluten allergies and the manager went out of his way to make sure I had plenty to eat that fit my diet, including cheese instead of bread to start my meal as well as a sliced apple to replace the cake I couldn't have. They are very accommodating and the food was absolutely excellent. The decor is great - it's a small, cozy, warm place with only 8 tables, so be sure to make a reservation. The service was very good, too. The waiter was even made aware of my allergies by the manager. I highly recommend this place and will be going back again soon!

The red cabbage was of a particular taste that we never experienced before. My sausages were good, but the companion German potato salad was neither German nor salad. We are not likely to return or to recommend the plac

Wonderful, cozy restaurant. It felt more like we were home in our own dining room having Sunday dinner. Our dinners were delicious and the owners and their staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Very special place!
