Absecon Do it Best Hardware

The administration of Absecon Hardware and The Shed and Carport Center have been advised that our Google Account has been Hijacked and we cannot respond to the comments posted here directly with the complainants . Since these comments seem to be without merit and malicious in nature we are investigating and in trying to respond, show no record of any of these incidents in our database. In most cases it would be reasonable to assume that if a consumer has a legitimate complaint, they would first seek to resolve it with the business. The Comment about disliking animals, the owners have two rescue dogs, and pets are welcomed in our store. The Comment about the shed, no such individual ever purchased a shed from us. Each of our sheds come with a warranty from the builder and we are happy to facilitate a solution under warranty, should one arise. The comment about not giving pricing over the phone on beach chairs, with the sheer number and variety of chairs we display and sell in season, it would be impossible to know from a person in a car which chair they were referring to. As far as the comment about the store being a "front"...that's a serious accusation. The current owners have been here since 1990, are well established and known in the community and have many business accolades from as far up as the White House and the SBA. The other offensive comment about the owners being racist....once again is just name calling and without justification. We refuse even to dignify such a comment. I would like to caution both of these writers; however, of the severity of the word "libel". With that being said, we would like to thank our many satisfied customers, some of whom have been shopping our store for the past 25+ years. As they are undoubtedly aware, we encourage any customer who has a question or concern to stop in or call and we will do our best to satisfy them.

I would like to respond to a review from "Annette B" Annette first and foremost this review is a form of "defamation or libel" the incident described did not happen, and the acusations are false. Absecon Hardware does not have paint and has not sold paint in over two years. Are you sure you were in the store? Guests are asked ONCE if there is something that they can be helped with not repeatedly as you exaggerated in you story. The store that I manage has been in business for 25+ years and is not going anywhere. You hide behind a nameless, faceless username perhaps your time would be better spent writing fiction as it seems that may be your forte.

I actually felt sorry for these people riding by their store everyday and never seeing a car in the parking lot, so i decided to by some lawn chairs off them, i figured even if they are a few bucks more than home depot, let me give these sorry souls some business, so i called from my cell at the traffic light right outside the store and asked how much the lawn chairs are that are sitting in front of the store, and the yoyo that answered the phone told me he was to busy to check for prices, busy doing what?? Patching the roof thats falling down all around the building!?! So i decided to make the right and go to home depot. I dont know how they stay in business! But i dont think it will be much longer, the building looks like it can be condemned at anytime!

These people don't even let you get your foot in the door, B-4 they bum rush you and then they follow you everywhere...@ least give people the benefit of doubt! Not friendly at all. I asked the person I spoke with their name and he did not want to give his name, his answer: "I don't give out my name ever to anyone". Then their in a rush to get you out of the store. The place is a dump, the roof leaks and it is dirty inside. I WILL NEVER EVER GO THEIR AGAIN! You know the best form of advertizing is word of mouth! I will definitely give them some (FREE) word of mouth advertizing, right!... on me NO CHARGE! Like the (1st) reviewer said' and said it best "If you like horrible service then go here". How do they stay in business, must be a FRONT! Their name should be "Do it Worst Home Center 2 GO 2" NOT WORTH RATING! That's how bad! But I had to give it a 1star rating in order to be able to publish.
