Absolutely love this store. Everything is not over priced and the stuff are wicked friendly too, I hope I come move up here and live in Wolfeboro one day.

Buyer beware! All items overpriced. It's disappointing to see price gouging .. the store clerk willingly admitting that "it's because there's a lot of money in Wolfeboro". I'm certain there are many people here, especially many seniors, that do not have disposable income to spend at the only Pharmacy in the area.

I am a resident of this town and utilize the store 3-4 times a week for paper products, prescriptions, greeting cards, candles and seasonal housewares. I spend a lot of time and money at this store here in town and have become friendly with all the staff, including the managers. I’m positive and upbeat and the staff are always helpful, happy, and take a minute to recognize me in the store and say hello and laugh about something. After a long day at work, Rite Aid is my go-to for wine and other spirits. I specifically go to rite aid and avoid other convenient stores (where alcohol is less expensive) because of the positive vibe and their friendliness. They always have me smiling on my way out the door. With that being said, I am at the store today to get misc. cookout needs including a grill lighter since I have a house full of family and friends waiting for me at home to start up the grill, silly me forgot a lighter. I don’t smoke, so I don’t just have one lying around the house and I’ve never had to buy anything behind the counter before. The staff member today, knows I’m a frequent flier and doesn’t even ID me for alcohol anymore. Today, she asked for my ID for a lighter. My ID was in my car and she told me she can’t sell it to me without seeing it. I was caught off guard with her tone and the inconvenience of the situation. The store is busy today and the wait was longer than usual, I could have ran out to get my ID and come back-but I wasn’t going to inconvenience the line of people behind me over a lighter. I’m not rating the store today out of anger- I’m rating the store today out of disappointment and the lack of customer service I received today. It put a sour taste in my mouth and I will not purchase from this store for a while, if ever again. I’m a gold card member which is an automatic 20% off my entire purchase. I earned that status because I’ve spent so much money at this store. Today I left upset and it’s a loss for the store and myself.
