I have been going to Lake Side Animal Hospital for several years now and I'm happy to have switched over to them! They care about the animals they treat very much. It wasn't until I came here that I learned how bad my cat's teeth were! And the many years of her vomiting food every day, assuming to be a scarf and barf initially, was revealed to be a digestive disorder! She is on a special diet and nutrition support, and rarely vomits now! I cannot believe how long she suffered with this! She was getting sicker and sicker. Even though Dr. Panebianco is who I've been seeing primarily in recent years, I have also seen Dr. Champlin numerous times. All of my questions get answered, and clarified as needed. I've even had to message concerns quite a number of times initially due to my cat's food and supplements transitioning as I was still learning. In regards her teeth, I cannot believe more emphasis wasn't put on teeth cleaning for so many years by previous veterinarians. It had only been suggested, casually, in the past, but then Lake Side Animal Hospital showed me and explained to me the issues they saw. After her cleaning I was shown pictures of her teeth, which had holes through some teeth, underneath the gums from when they cleaned her teeth. She needed several teeth pulled. I can't even imagine the pain she had to have been in, and it makes me feel guilty for not having had it done earlier. She is now nicer to the other cats because she is no longer in pain. I had no idea this was the reason for her irritation. I'm am glad to say her most recent cleaning revealed a lot of tartar, but no teeth needed pulling! Dr. Panebianco has helped come up with various plans with both my girls since they are all unique! My youngest has numerous allergy problems so treating them both with different issues can be very challenging. One likes dry, the other does not. One likes soft textures, the other likes hard. One tolerates being given meds, the other would just as soon kill me! My point is that they try to offer the best with who they are dealing with, which indicates a flexibility that is always needed with our pets. There is so much more I could still say. I also don't want to forget the rest of the team, though! Jennifer, Michelle. Alyssa, and Brittany. All who have shown genuine care for my furry kids! All who have helped me with the needs of my cats. Thank you! Martine, Sasha, and Rosie
