        Friendly innkeepers. Everything was clean and orderly. Transparent, round soap..I thonk they were made locally.

        Michael and Meri welcomed us humans with open arms and hearts. They welcomed our dogs with even more affection. With out further ado, I want to say, we will definitely stay here again! Meri and Michael were as friendly and warm as you could hope for when traveling. Their home and bed and breakfast is beautiful and charming, the bed was comfortable, and the decor throughout could keep the curious minded occupied for quite a while. We were greeted with home made cookies and coffee and tea as well as a warm fire. There is plenty of information about things to do in the region in various areas of the home. We were in the area to see the Ice Castles in Lincoln, and for cross country skiing. Michael and Meri were also a source of ski and trail information that a brochure couldn’t provide. As mentioned, we and our dogs (or our dogs and us I should say) were made to feel at home from the start. We plan to return for our summer hiking.
