BEWARE of Joel Hicks!!! Joel is very dishonest, he will tell you everything you want to hear in order to get your business. He is also very unreliable and unprofessional. We hired Joel to tile 1 bathroom floor, and to remodel another bathroom & build a walk in shower and tile it. To make a few nightmares short, the 1st bathroom he decided to take a bad shortcut with the floor, and did a hack job on the tile work, it all had to be redone the right way, not to mention he flooded the 2nd floor, and now we have water stains in our kitchen ceiling. He started the work on the 2nd bathroom, showed up when he wanted, in 3 days worked a total of 12 hrs. and wanted more money from us, after giving him a $3,500 down payment. The small amount of work he did was HACK work, and most of which had to be redone. The small amount of work Joel & his crew did in the 12 hrs., could have easily been done in a day or less by professionals. His laborers have no construction or tile experience, not to mention 1 of his workers is a registered sex offender. We fired him on the 4th day, and he ripped us off a total of $4,000. After this huge mistake we made by hiring him, we talked to many other tile guys in the area. They ALL had similar horror stories to share about Joel Hicks & his work. This man flat out lied to our faces, told us whatever he thought we wanted to hear in order to get the job. I used to build houses from the ground up, and I consider myself a decent finish carpenter. Whatever small amount of carpentry work Joel did, was done incorrectly, and bad short cuts were made. I had to re-do what work he did myself, the correct way. Joel counts on people not taking the time and getting a lawyer and going thru all the hassle of taking him to court & suing him. Check him out on the Better Business Bureau's web site, he got an F for a grade. WARNING, do not hire Joel Hicks, or anyone that has anything to do with him, you WILL regret it.

Noah calini of stoddard is liar and has anger issues not to mention he is on comp from injuries in ma and clearly breached his contact with us this post should be taken down deformation of us and is cleary trying to screw us over his cieling was already a mess and he ripped himself off by not letting us finish a three week job that we only put 15 hrs in hes jys a bully
