The first sales girl didn't really know what metals were in the Russian gold. She also told me that the birthstones were real, I found out before I exchanged the first time that they were colored crystal marketed as birthstones. They don't have a large selection in the 14k gold line so my options were limited to religious charms or birthstones. The second sales girl told me that I could not buy a charmless bangle and buy a charm of my liking to add because one would have to desolder the bracelet. I looked at the bracelet, there was no solder, just a bent piece of gold wire with little bent curls at the ends to hold it together. I found out later the sales people have to take a test on the product information once they are hired. I should note that their return policy is all about exchanges. It doesn't mention the word refund. In my opinion if they don't say then it doesn't mean they don't give refunds. The first exchange went fine because I was giving them more money. The second exchange, not so good because I asked them to refund the difference. I scoured all the literature I could find (internet, receipts, reviews etc) and didn't see any mention of a refund. If they said no refunds then I wouldn't have asked for one. The sales girl was hesitant and then the manager came out and asked me if the salesgirl didn't make the return policy clear. I told him the exchange policy was very clear but the refund policy was not. Regrettably they refunded me the difference. I tried to explain to the manager that if they just clarified the policy to include where they stand on refunds these things wouldn't happen but he didn't appear interested. In summary: Uninformed salespeople, Ingenious return policy with a large gap.
