Im not going to say that the foods not good, its basic CJ's but do not get the seafood. They're not a seafood place

Im a longtime patron of Cactus Jacks, and my family and I are quite familiar with the well-balanced Mexican/American menu, offering everything from Chimichangas, Fajitas, and Crispy Haddock Tacos, to a variety of Burgers, Chicken and Grilled Steaks, to the more traditional New England seafood dishes like Lobster Rolls, Baked Stuffed Haddock, and Fish & Chips.
On this particular occasion, we were a party of three and we were quickly seated at the table in front of the fireplace in the second dining on the right. This dining area features a cozy atmosphere with rows of booths positioned along each wall of the room and tables peppered throughout the room. The tight seating makes it easy for one party to eavesdrop on another partys conversations, which is what happened to us this afternoon and several other times weve eaten there before. But, expect to make new friends at CJs. Its a cordial neighborly atmosphere and its not at all unusual to bump into individuals that youve interacted with on prior occasions who have since become familiar acquaintances.
The food we were served was good, but the Boneless BBQ Chicken Breast was a little overdone and very dry around the edges. The kitchen provided a double order of Coke Slaw as requested on that order, but forgot to send out the Cowboy Beans on the finished platter. Our server, who was attentive throughout the meal, retrieved the missing beans quickly when asked, and he seemed to appear table-side whenever we needed anything like an additional serving of guacamole (SO good), a coffee warmup, or dessert recommendation.
CJs offers Summer Specials, Lo-Carb, Vegetarian, and special preparation optionsYou only have to mention that you have a food allergy or sensitivity and the kitchen staff is ready and willing to take extra care in making certain that your meal is properly prepared with your health and safety in mind. Parking is ample, even during busy times. The restaurant offers a well-stocked bar, along with both indoor and outdoor dining areas.
I recommend CJs as a good clean eatery with great service and convenient dine in or takeout options.
