I have worn Ecco Sandals for at least 10 years. Really loved the anatomical wave footbed and the way the whole shoe performed and supported my foot. I still prefer that to the newer versions. Please consider bring it back or let me know if you still have some. Thank you !

The hostility and lack of willingness to help from your customer service team is appalling. I tried to return two pairs of shoes that I purchased online for over $400 - but my call was ten days after ECCOs 60 day return policy. Fifteen years ago when I first started doing business with ECCO they had the best customer service any place. A special shout-out to Customer Service agent Tim who called me a liar and faulted me for not calling within the deadline. I thought customer service was about serving customers. Ive bought probably 20 pairs of ECCOs through the years since 2001. And they all fit the first time. I wasnt asking for money or a refund. Just a simple exchange for a size that fits. Seems like an easy fix to help someone. Right? Stay away from ECCO.

I've bought Ecco dress shoes and boots for the past 20+ years and been able to to wear each of those for 2-3 year with daily use.
Given our changing work expectations I recently bought my first pair of their more casual / athletic shoes and they're showing more wear and tear in 3 months than my ASICS (that cost less than half what I paid for the Eccos even when the Eccos were on sale) do in 3 years.
And the return policy is dismal - only store credit - which given the longevity of the shoe that is be looking to replace is already bad - why would I buy another?
I can't speak to the quality of the dress shoes currently (I'm only a year or so into my newest pair) but be careful with what you get at this point.

I was a dedicated Ecco buyer. Indeed, it was the only non-dress shoe Id wear (dress shoes were Churchs) they were comfortable and durable. I had some that lasted 10 years. NOT ANY MORE. The last 5 pairs (yes I know but I kept hoping) have lasted as little as 6 months before catastrophic failure. Delaminated soles, defective stitching, eyelets pulling out. Once I got warranty service but the repairs failed way too soon. My latest fiasco was with terrible stitching. I bought them on line and now live in Europe so just took them to the local repair shop and paid 40 to fix it. I wish these guys still made durable good quality shoe. They used to be the best and most comfortable shoes I owned. So sad.
