My brother and I came in today to purchase his first firearm and didnt go as expected. The first person we were directed to was a young gun counter associate. He helped narrow down our options. He then called over another employee that had purchased the same gun to educate us further. Though I failed to catch his name he gave us amazing service and seemed much more qualified for the job. After we converted we check on the progress of the purchase with the previous associate. He went on to say he didnt feel comfortable selling us the gun, leaving us and the qualified employee shocked. Going on to say you guys need more experience and education my brother asked if we needed additional paperwork or some type of certificate to purchase the gun. He answered with a no, speechless and confused we started to walk away. In doing so he proceeded to say we were suspicious. Mind you both of our records are squeaky clean which he should know seeing as though he did a background check. Not only that but we both have experience with firearms and are well informed with the laws a regulation that come with it. Being that we are of Hispanic decent the only thing we could come up with is racial profiling. Regardless he refused us service, I think he might be the one that needs educating.
