Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

I can't say I like the tactic used to get us to order certain things. The server rather than ask What would we like to drink, asks upon seating us "Which Margarita would you like?" She did something similar with an appetizer, "How would you like your guacamole?" which we typically wouldn't order. It's aggressive unwanted up sell tactics. One more reason we seldom choose to go here anymore. The food we had was good. But we prefer other places, and where they aren't trying to manipulate you.

I usually steer away from chains and especially fake overpriced underwhelming gringo food but my brother in law chose this place while he was visiting from out of town and my wife didn't have the guts to tell him we shouldn't go. My fears were confirmed when we sat in a mostly empty dining room at dinner time. We did have an uncleared table behind us that kept us company for our entire meal and for all I know it had been sitting there all day. The dingbat who waited on us couldn't figure out that I asked for the salsa on the fish tacos on the side (because who in their right mind puts corn salsa on fish tacos) so I just said "nevermind" when she said "and what did you want on the side?" The fish was overcooked, overbreaded and gave me a belly ache to add insult to injury. . My wifes mini chimichangas were greasy and tasteless. Thankfully for Margaritas there are the unwashed ignorant masses that are happy with the championing of mediocrity who are happy to shell out for this garbage.
