image Enjoyed working with the team there, who were professional and capable. We needed to delay our installation by several months, and they were quite good about accommodating that. The product is very nice and we're happy both with the way it looks and the additional use that we will now enjoy with our screened porch.

image Several years ago we added a three season porch and after experiencing your product at my parents Florida home I reached out to you for our windows. We have actually enjoyed our porch all year round. Ive found the windows easy to maintain and use giving us flexibility of ventilation even when raining. Awesome product!

image We used Clearview a dozen years ago for a large screen porch in MA. 2 homes later we fond ourselves in southwestern NH with a small screen porch with 1/3 the windows. The quote was the same as we paid for the huge space in MA but, given inflation and the distance they were driving, we forged ahead.
Much to our surprise and delight, the called a few weeks before the anticipated install to see if they could come "today" because they had other cancellations and wanted to keep their guys busy. I took the time to clean out the space and headed off to work. I came home early so I would be here for the final sign-off. I had told the owner that he'd have to invoice us for the final amount since we didn't have cash on hand - that was the trade off for keep his guys working for the day and he was fine with that. He said that was fine, he'd send an invoice and we could mail a check or call with a credit card.
A couple weeks later, I got an email from the owner asking if we'd made payment. I told him I'd forgotten as I was waiting on that final invoice. He sent the invoice a couple days later and I called with a credit card payment.
Much to my surprise, FIVE days later, I got an email from "Josh" with my receipt where he indicated "note that 3% has been charged for a credit card fee" I was livid because it wasn't on the invoice, it wasn't mentioned when I called. I emailed back and said exactly that and was told "it's on all the paperwork you signed". I had to go back a couple months, pull up the original contract and, yes, it is there. But how lousy to not have that on the invoice in the first place. They wasted my time and their staff time processing a card that ended up being refunded, I had to make a special trip to the bank to transfer funds, and then mail a check.
This whole experience was so unprofessional that it would keep me from using them again or recommending them to anyone. As a small business owner for 25+years, I would have apologized and "eaten" the $55 - their lack of disclosure and transparency caused the problem but, instead, it cost them at least one customer.
Edited to address seller's comment - we mailed a check as soon as the pending charge and credit cleared our accounts.

Good to know we do things right, and we always love repeat business.It's great to hear that we came out early and well before the estimated installation date and that you are happy with the new install. We take pride in knowing that we are putting out such a great product, and service, and even ahead of schedule.Here at Clearview, the final payment is always due at completion, which is clearly stated on our contract, Also clearly stated is the payment amount for the cost of the project, as well as the additional 3% fee if a credit card is used for payment (this has been on our paperwork for 20+ years). We never ask for cash as payment, that choice is up to our customers.We price our projects without automatically adding extraneous fees in order to keep our prices competitive in the market, as well as to be fair to all our customers. Instead of overcharging all of our customers by adding fees into our pricing in case someone uses a card, we only charge the fees (that go directly to the credit card processing company) to those customers that wish to make a credit card payment. We feel that this is fair and we are very up front about the fees as stated in the email that you were sent, as well as your paperwork for your order.We are glad that our office employee, Josh, did his job properly by referencing the paperwork And thank you for clarifying that he offered a solution and canceled your transaction for payment, and did so within thirty minutes of your request, and that he offered for you to mail in a check for the final payment as an alternative.Although as of the date of this reply, it has been 52 days since we have finished your project and we still have not received your final payment.Thank you again for your repeat business and enjoy your second Eze-Breeze space.
