Davidson's Countryside Campground

It was the long weekend so 3 nights minimum is required which we agreed to pay. We asked if we could arrived at 9:30pm. The answer was a categoric NO. As the check-in times are: : 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. No check-ins after the Office closes at 7:00 p.m. We have 3 tents so no noise like big RVs or so. First night, neighbour #1 arrived at 9:30pm and the night after at 10pm, Neighbour #2 arrived at 10:53pm. Whatever the reason, car accident, tire flat or anything else. Bigs RV arriving after check in times. Banging to keep it stable etc? It is not a problem. Dont be honest tell them you will arrive at 7pm, they will let an envelope with the card to enter. And you will be able to enter the site. We tried to talk with the owner to do something, a discount or so for the night we couldnt spend. He refused and said i can not control people . Neighbour #1 arrived 2 times after check in hours. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me right? As promised, I am always honest: beautiful camping, site is well maintained, clean restroom, large sites, nice staff. Unfortunately, good customer service is something you dont have.

Everything is fine as long as you don't plan on leaving or coming in when they're closed. They have a gate that you can't get through and no one to open it for you. EDIT I understand the reasoning unfortunately I needed to pick my daughter up there at 7:30 AM and it was pouring. Had to make numerous trips to the site she was at to get her stuff. All of us and all her stuff got soaked. Check out time was before I could get back or I would have made another trip after 9.
