I chose to get my bridesmaids dresses else where because one of them had a bad experience with Betty Dees, but I had loyalty to this place, and chose to look past her experience.
Getting my dress was fine. But the experience of getting the tuxes was a nightmare. My husband and I went in together and chose what to get. When he went to get sized with his groomsmen she had the order completely wrong but told my husband he was the one that was wrong. After picking up the tuxes a few days before the wedding we noticed a stain on my husband's pants. Robin said she would have another pair overnighted. When we received them, it was two pairs of pants for my son (who is seven) that were not needed at all, and no pants for my husband. I expressed my frustration with her, as my husband should not have to wear stained clothing on our wedding day! She said "his jacket should cover it" our wedding was in August and it was 80+ degrees that day. It also turned out my father had a stain on his pants.
After returning the tuxes the Monday after the wedding she called and said that two of the groomsmen pants were missing. I told her that my husband and I both checked and everything was there when we brought them back. She told me I needed to look again because they triple checked. Apparently, they returned them to the tux company, and the tux company and they were missing one of the 3 pairs of my sons pants that were sent, and they would be charging us. After my husband called and explained that the whole experience had been a nightmare she took responsibility.
Unfortunately, after an experience like this, for an event such as this, I won't return. The stress she caused the days before and day of my wedding, with no apologies, is unacceptable and inexcusable.
