I'm not one to usually leave negative reviews. I'm leaving this review hoping to help another homeowner... We purchased a home in September 2021 Derek came out to the property and was great. Completed the inspection and found both chimneys have had fires in them at some point and the old clay liners were in poor condition. There was also a decent checklist of items needed at the roofline and above on the chimney. I literally had to follow up at least four times over the course of three or four weeks just to get the estimates. I didn't think too much about this as it is probably their busiest time of the year.... I should have walked away at this point... Once I received the estimates, i signed for what i wanted completed and mailed it with a check for 50% as a deposit. After several more phone calls and a few more weeks and a couple of missed appointments (on their part which were no shows). Derek randomly texted and said that his counterpart had been out to take care of the exterior items. He said that when the chimney cap came in it was damaged and that they would be back out to replace it when it came in. Two months later and i have not been able to get ahold of the company via, phone, text, or email. Good thing we didn't decide to put down a deposit of several thousands of dollars to have the chimney liners replaced.... Its anyone's guess if they even showed up and did the work that they said they did as they never even cashed the deposit check... This is a terrible way to do business.... Quick and efficient cleaning and inspection. Work was clean. I will definitely use 1 Clean Sweep again

Inspection and cleaning was scheduled and completed without issue. Chimney integrity Issues were uncovered during the inspection, some being listed as urgent. After completing the proposal for repairs and providing downpayment, I have not had any of my calls, voicemails, texts, or emails returned. It has now been two weeks.. Im going to have to cancel my check to avoid losing hundreds of dollars because I cant even verify that its been received. Communication is simple and critical, but seemingly a challenge for this business. Update: Urgent work was finally completed, but the full amount of work quoted that I requested to be done, was not addressed. I was only charged based on the work that was completed, but I have no indication that the full job is going to be done.
